PUTNAM GREEN'S™ NEWSLETTER December 2005 BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MISSION STATEMENT “To serve the Putnam Green Community with integrity and pride. We will be persistent in pursuing the standards that were set forth. We will stand as one to make our community a success.” THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Board and committee members are all volunteer positions. The condo fees barely cover the community expenses (some listed on the end of this page). Improvements in the community can only occur if neighbors volunteer their time and talents to our cause. These positions are a labor of love for our community. The names and addresses of the Board of Directors are as follows: Pam Matthews Lucille Samaniego Wanda Yates PROGRESS Thank you to all dues paying members! The Board is happy to report that because of your diligence in paying your monthly dues, our homeowners association was able to retire our 2003 debt to Welsh Construction. Keep up the good work. Additional progress has been provided to the community through the following services: The common-areas of the development have been cut on a regular basis from April PROJECTS The Board is currently working on the following projects to improve our quality of life in our community:
PUTNAM GREEN WEBSITE We now have a website thanks to one of our neighbors who volunteers his talents and time to create and maintain this website. Our website will serve as an added resource for our community. NOTE: Any problems should be directed to MRA Property Management.
CRIME ALERT We have received various reports of attempted auto thefts in the area. As a result, many residents have inquired about a block watch program. We need volunteers to start such a program, which is now called Citizens on Patrol (C.O.P). Volunteers for C.O.P Program will attend a training session at the Randallstown Police Substation by Officer McAulay, (410) 887-4714. Also, please be mindful to report any suspicious activity in our community, which is Precinct 02, to the following: Call 911 if you witness a crime When reporting a crime or disturbance, please give the officer your name and phone number so he can call you back with the results of the report. Your contact information will not be used on any paperwork. If the officer can call you back to ask questions and have you be his “Eyes and Ears”, he may be able to take action quicker. NEWSLETTERS In order to reduce administrative costs and postage, newsletters will be posted on the website quarterly. INSURANCE CLAIMS The property damage insurance the HOA has in place, pays claims for damage to the outside of the house due to a storm or other acts of GOD. General maintenance and repair are the responsibility of the homeowner. The same rules apply as if you owned a single-family home. The details of the insurance coverage are spelled out in the bylaws. PUTNAM GREEN HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION COMMUNITY MEETING The last HOA meeting was held on Wednesday, November 30th at 6:30 p.m. at Dogwood Elementary School. The school is located at 8300 Dogwood Road and is located down the street from Ms. Desserts. The following topics were discussed at the meeting: We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday!
PUTNAM GREEN EXPENSES
Additionally, HOA dues pay for MRA Property Management fees that include copies, labels, delinquency letters, postcards, certified letters, envelopes, file folders, faxes, statements, and other office expenses. The administrative expenses have increased due to the need to send late notices.
